Not your typical Chinese restaurant. The menu isn't extensive like a take out. Waitresses are very attentive, water was always refilled. The price for the proportions are great. You'll get a lot of food. The food is also good.
I recommend going for if you're in the mood for Chinese food. -

Chinese it may be but cuisine it ain't.
Very ordinary, heavy, greasy, stodgy.
Gets four out five MEH'S. -

A-OK Chinese restaurant with very friendly staff. The place was relatively empty on a Thursday evening so we were seated at a booth promptly.
Wu's Chinese Cuisine has a decent menu. Most of their food is Americanized, but they do have some authentic dishes like beef chow fun, Chinese chow mein with cantonese pan fried noodles and salt and pepper shrimp. We ended up ordering:
General Tso's chicken -- good, decent light breading
Lemon chicken -- also decent light breading
Beef chow fun -- kind of greasy, but it was decent. There was a good portion amount of beef in the dish
Overall, decent Chinese food, with a couple of authentic dishes, if Americanized Chinese food isn't all that you're craving. Service was great, food came out quick, and so if you're near the Schaumburg area, I think this place is worth checking out.
BATHROOM REVIEW: Located near the front of the restaurant, the bathroom was A-OK. It was somewhat dimly lit and dingy. The urinal was in this tight narrow spot, but it got the job done. The stall wall was stained with urine, but again, tight spot. There was a roll of paper towels sitting on the sink counter, so it was OK. Sit or squat? Definitely squat. -

Just a quick update on my original review, as I was able to try additional dishes on this visit -- but my overall impression is still the same. You get a lot of food for the price you're paying, both in terms of regular meats or seafood -- with a cooking style that is a bit of a hybrid between Mandarin, Cantonese, and American.
Szechwan Beef - Kind of like a hybrid between sweet and sour sauce with a touch of spiciness. The soft beef is flavored heavily with raw onion, creating a combination that is similar to peking pork chop in flavor, except with beef.
Shrimp Cantonese Chow Mein - Nicely pan fried noodles are patched with a very light gravy and topped with plenty of shrimp and assorted vegetables. Probably one of the best versions of this dish you'll find around, as there was good texture contrast throughout and the quantity of shrimp was generous.
Chicken chow fun - The chicken was surprisingly tender and served over a nice bed of fresh rice chow fun. The bean sprouts and green onion helped to temper down the saltiness of the soy sauce.
Beef Noodle Soup - Fairly generous portions of slurpy noodles and thinly cut beef create a great dish for a cold day at an unbeatable price. I wasn't a huge fan of the broth though, as I was hoping for more of a Taiwanese style instead of one that tasted like chili bean sauce.
General Tso's Chicken - A bit interesting -- in terms of batter and meat, this seems identical to the orange chicken -- but with a sauce that's a bit of a variation on sweet and sour sauce. The feature that really distinguishes this for me is what I feel is heavy heat applied to honey -- creating a nice crisp on the edges of the meat and creating wok hay through light caramelization.
Overall, it's not really your traditional Americanized Chinese, but a more upscale variation of your favorites at a good price. -

Tried this place for the first time and I will definitely be back! Ordered take-out and everything was hot and fresh when I got home. The lady at the desk was very pleasant. Wish I would have tried this place sooner- im always looking for a decent chinese place in the area. Must try!
